Carlisle United were today remaining tight-lipped on the head coach situation and the potential fate of Mike Williamson's backroom team.
More than 36 hours after sacking Williamson, the club have yet to clarify the latest position as they seek a new boss.
The Cumbrians are still believed to be keen to appoint Williamson's successor soon and in time for Saturday's League Two trip to Grimsby Town.
As such they have made no comment on any caretaker regime, with Williamson's coaching team understood to be taking training until an appointment is finalised.
Only Williamson's departure was confirmed by the Cumbrians on Monday morning.
No such decision has yet been taken on the staff Williamson brought with him to Brunton Park last September, including Ian Watson, Chris Bell, Tom Weal and Toby Frost.
They are believed to be overseeing things on the training ground until a new head coach is in place, though the Blues have not officially commented on this either.
Any decision on their retention or otherwise is likely to follow from there.
Jon Brady, the former Northampton Town boss, is the new odds-on favourite for the job with bookmakers.
